About the Role

Position Summary:


TFA is seeking a creative Marketing Intern to support social media,  content creation, and outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone  passionate about agriculture, food, or both, with strong digital skills  and an interest in storytelling. The intern will manage social media  accounts, create videos/photos, design materials, and support outreach  to microgreens growers and buyers. Occasional travel within the DMV is  required to document farm activities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms.

  • Experience in video/photo creation and editing.

  • Ability to design digital/print materials.

  • Strong organization and communication skills.

  • Interest in agriculture or food systems.

  • Ability to travel occasionally within DMV.

  • Spanish-language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow TFA’s social media accounts (FB, IG, TikTok).

  • Create engaging visual content (videos, photos, graphics).

  • Design digital/print materials for campaigns.

  • Support outreach to microgreens growers and buyers.

  • Track analytics and maintain content calendars.

  • Travel occasionally to farms for content capture.

  • Assist with distributing samples and informational materials.
