About the Role
Position Summary:
TFA is seeking motivated interns who want hands-on experience in agriculture, food systems, storytelling, marketing, sales, and nonprofit management. Interns will work directly with farmers, food vendors, chefs, community partners, and TFA’s multi-functional teams. We match each intern with a mentor based on their interests, whether creative, community-focused, or operations-oriented.
Requirements
Ideal Candidates:
• Passionate about agriculture, food security, and/or food systems
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Excited to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
Depending on Your Interests, Your Responsibilities May Include:
Conducting outreach to farmers and food vendors
Assisting at farmers markets and community events
Helping with health and nutrition presentations
Supporting social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
Creating videos and photos that showcase farmers and their work
Teaching kids how to grow microgreens
Assisting with marketing materials and presentations
Shadowing farmers, chefs, and team members on special projects
Learning nonprofit operations and administrative management
